Jennea Katic started her career in the motorsports/automotive industry in 2016 by becoming a part-time intern in high school for Jo's Garage. Concentrating on 3D modeling engine mounts and engine related brackets, led to design and manufacturing custom interior pieces for clients who were seeking a more unique design.
After graduating high school , Jennea received an opportunity at Lockheed Martin as a government relations intern. After seeking out a more technological internship, she transitioned to Manufacturing intern for Tooling and Machining. She continued to work for Lockheed through her first year of college at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. After venturing in the Space industry, she decided to return to Jo's Garage as a Fabrication Intern to pursue her love of high performance automotives. This led to the idea of KTECH and in December of 2021, KTECH Engineering was established.
Jennea isn't just providing solutions on the factory side, she's also engaging down in the paddock. For the past three years, she has worked on teams competing in IMSA's Weathertech Championship and VP Challenge (LMP3 class), World Racing League (GTO class), SCCA Pro Racing Championship (Formula Regional Americas class), and Historic Sportscar Racing (Endurance and Sprint Races). She has now expanded KTECH to offer trackside data and performance engineering as a service with current clientele including Toney Driver Development and AE Victory Racing.
